STEM2Stern

Client: The Round Peg Group
Status: Launched in 2009, this website is actively maintained 

STEM2Stern.org (www.stem2stern.org) is an information portal for students, teachers, counselors, and mentors. It is a tool that coordinates and connects Naval STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs across the Naval enterprise.

Fakoli Components:

• Two different websites (one internal facing and one for the general public) managed by one core application, sharing data and administration.
• Custom projects database capturing ONR funded STEM activities across the entire Naval enterprise, with a custom workflow, categorization system, and metrics capture and reporting. This database is able to be expanded and refined as the STEM2Stern Operations requires.
• Survey tool to help with metrics capture and survey management.
• Email address book and group email feature of all project Points of Contact and other STEM stakeholders.
• Document and filesharing library, allowing highly customized permissions for read, edit, and delete. 

QR My Brew
Client: Double Blind Brew
Status: Launched in 2012, this website is actively maintained

QR My Brew (www.qrmybrew.com) provides a handy way for homebrewers to gather reviews from friends and provide feedback and plaudits for their efforts. Members enter details of their brewery operation and their brews and a QR code is automatically generated to be added to beer labels. Beer drinkers then scan the code with their smart phone or the webcam on their laptop, go to the website and enter in a review for that beer. Members can also share photos, see reviews and add details of their home brew operations.

SeaPerch

SeaPerch (www.seaperch.org) is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in an in-school or out-of-school setting. The website offers online kit ordering and credit card payment, backend kit and inventory management, online calendars, student surveys, video galleries, and online discussion forums for participants to share reports on their builds. Online registration and management of competitions is also a feature offered by the site.

Griot

Griot is a web-based financial reporting and forecasting tool that allows firms to to analyze their operational data in real time. It contains an integrated time card, PTO manager, visualization tools, automated reporting, and email alert systems.
